Idle Speed
#21
So do you lot think its possible to get the bike to idle so smooth the needle doesn't even move? I suppose it would be hard on a carbbed bike ha?

Seen it a couple of times, but it doesn't mean the bike is any better. My bro-in-law's old rf900 had the steadiest tickover I've ever seen at 900rpm, and was rock solid!
My old red fazer boxeye was similar, it was solid at 1k. (should have kept that bike). So yeah, it can be done.
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Trust me, i can't be arsed to video the rev counter and prove it.
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.
