Following a few comments made in another thread, like Chillum and Pieman, I have always been a great fan of pinball.
It started in the 70s when I would play every lunchtime at the HardRock in Piccadilly. We used to play four up and loser bought the beer.
I remember staggering out after one session and leaving 28 unopened Becks on the bar !!!???
I also had to play till I got the high score and remember one historic game where I reached the billions and a single game lasted for about 45 minutes in a pub in WC2.
Sadly these days it is increasingly difficult to find a pinball machine in a pub and the only one I know of is in the Hole in the Wall pub behind Waterloo station (and that may now be gone)
May I suggest a quick post to advise of all the available machines known to members?
Any in the South are assured of some trade from Dilligaff.
