Power commander

I'm looking into buying a power commander for my 2010 fz1. Seen a few on evilbay for the R1, and wondering will it fit my bike??
Been on the PC website, and it's not too helpful in this area.

Also seen a Two brothers juicebox, would this be an alternative?
I'm a nuts and bolts kind of guy, and this electronics thing is wizadry to me!!!

i would buy one that says its correct for your bike,simple 


are you after the newer PCV or older PC3?

As far as I know, they stopped making the PC 3 before the 10 plate came out, so they don't market for it. Only the PC 5 is advertised. Doesn't mean it doesn't fit though, I just haven't tried it.

If it is for a 2010 + R1 then the engine is completely different, crossplane crank 4 valve heads etc.


Is it just the wiring loom and map that is different, I don't know? Phoning up one of the better Dyno shops should shed some light.

The PC3 you need is either : FZ1 06 onwards or R1 04 - 06 or PCV for FZ1.
I  have the PC3 & Ignition module but the PCV is the way to go.

Thanks DekF, that's more like what I was after. Ill be trying to source one as the airbox mod, and trimmed flies will lean off the mixture too much on their own. Needs the PC to remap it.
