Hmm, friend of mine had a dan moto on his hornet.. wasn't that much louder than stock to be honest...
really? They sound super loud on videos. To be honest I want an under tray before a exhaust.

Video's can be decieving
What other mods has your bike got?
[/quote]
Off the top of my head.;
Double Bubble
heated grips
blue lights in the clocks
rear hugger (came with the bike when I bought it)
Delkevic 350mm Stubby (came with the bike when I bought it)
14t front sprocket
You?
Edit: thats a lot of mods now I think about it...
Black double bubble
clear indicator lenses (probably my favourite mod as it brightened up the whole bike)
had a carbon rear hugger when i got it,
blueflame end can,
k&n air and oil filter,
came with a belly pan on it,
I did the blue led in the dial mod the other day, love them, always hated the greeny yellow lights that were in it,
just had my wheels powder coated black.
Think that's about it. I have a pic or two in my introduction thread "hello from up north" check it out, it's before i put the blueflame on it though.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.
Nice.
I want a K&N Air filter but I am restricted to 33bhp so it will increase thus making me illegal. (again)
Ah i see, when does your liscence become unrestricted?? I waited till I could do the direct access and then did my test. Promised my dad I wouldn't get a bike till I was over 21 and had been driving a car for a few years first so I knew the rules of the road and had some experience of how traffic behaves etc.

If you have a Delkevic end can already, why switch to the Dan Moto? Admittedly I have no experience with either of these brands but I'm not sure I can see the justification.
Also, just to throw it out there, I have a Beowulf Warrior 380mm can which has BSAU markings with a removable baffle. The baffle was in twice over the 9 month period that I was using it And it won't be in when I refit it to my new bike. I've never actually been pulled over by the policy, be it in my cars or on my bike

Ye poor Brits!!....we Paddys don't have MOTs for the bikes, only for cars!
Sometimes having no money to implentent such things, and being backwards has its good points! :lol

They've been talking about MOT's for bikes for a while now in Ireland, i don't reckon it'll be too far away?

Back on original topic...
Watch out for the hanger. The stock exhaust hanger was a P-type, which holds the exhaust out away from the swing arm.
I didn't realise this and fitted an after-market one with a hanger where the tab was central on the pipe. It bolted up OK with a spacer, but then fouled the swing arm when there was weight on the bike ;-)

Ha Ha...that's about it....talking. They haven't the money to fill in a pot hole over here, let alone the resources to build or lease property to make it happen!!.
It's not like the UK here at all. Bikes make up a very very small population of road users over here, so it might be too costly to set up and run for the amount of bikes that would need MOTed. It probably would cost them money. I mean, ye guys over there have more bikes and bikes shops in London alone, than in all of Ireland here, I'd say!!
Then there is a manpower problem. My city is the 2nd largest in Ireland and they are about 4 small bike shops here with about 4-5 mechanics (1 in each shop on average)....and I don't even think they are qualified mechanics!! So they will have to pinch these unqualified people for the MOT centres...but how will we get our bikes serviced then as some of those shops will cease to function without the mechanics??

You'll have to stop dropping it or there won't be any bike left to unrestrict :lol Glad you're ok from your more recent crash though.

Fatboy....I have a Venom too. How does the K&N work with the Venom? Hadn't time to fit my K&N yet, as I might as well balance the carbs if i'm whipping the tank off.
K&N is a MUST, trust me, and every other Foccer on this forum!!!

Was looking at a set for about £139 and just about to ask if they fit OK so you've saved me the bother. Just hope I don't have as much trouble with the studs as Dead Eye!

I have one. Just wanted to know what to anticipate over the stock filter with a Venom onboard. I'm going to balance the carbs while the tank is off...it's just finding the time to do it.......... :groan

Good luck with it! Liberal use of WD40 (or other penetrating fluids) is highly advised. But at the end of the day, if it does all go south it can still be fixed at least Looking forward to getting my hands dirty reassembling this weekend
