Hi all......can I ask what's the best engine paint to use as some of mine has come off. I know some of you guys have had to re paint your engines. Do I need high temp paint...

off my top of my head i fink it was this stuff I used have a look in the fzs600 one of the lads was painting his and tarting it I used the same paint if i find the old post i will put it up there http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-x-250ml-Jet-...629149663?

Will it do to paint the exhaust pipes as well? Mine are a bit rusty at the front where they come from the cylinders.

I have painted exausts in the past, it never works, burns off

tbqfh - i would say use a spray paint - it give a better finish. its a bit of an arse masking off the areas that u dont want paint on, but the finish is better.
Ill dig out the details of the spray I used and post it up.

Whats the best way to prep the engine? Do u need to take off all the old paint first?

I'm not the only one that has used smoothrite successfully an I? Works a treat.
