scary stuff :eek :eek :eek
I've called the police twice on my daily cycle commute so far this year, because car drivers didn't think they had to give way to a cycle. Whether the first one saw me or not, I don't know, but the 2nd definitely did, his line was "I was indicating, you should give way". Tosser.

Fair play to the lad who hit the cyclist as he's admitted everything buy the woman is just unbelievable. How could she not see him on the floor.

Some drivers are that dumb, but half the time cyclist get what they deserve.
If they were to take notice of the highway code and stop at traffic lights keep off the pavements and ride with a bit of consideration for other road users they may get treated differently. As for no insurance and road tax don't get me started.

Not all are idiots who run red lights and cycle on the pavement, just as not all bikers are wheelie popping, violent thugs . . . . . Seriously blind, and not even an apology, or 'Are you ok???' Bitch. This is why I also have a helmet cam on me bike. . . . . . .

And they say women are better drivers than men :rolleyes Probably gonna upset a few people on here but in my experience they are more aggressive, more prone to road rage and hate to be overtaken by bikes to the point where I have often found them accelerating hard just as you are passing them. Men are guilty of this too so I don't want to generalise but generally....They are shit :lol

Bit of a generalisation there. :uhuh
Sadly, stupidity is an affliction of all sexes . . . . . :wall

I think she was just looking to the right, she never checked to the left and pulled out,a common fault, could have been a car on her side of the road overtaking , or a person crossing the road, Just goes to show, a high vis and lights makes no difference. She was so casual about it as well.
the night i was born, lord the moon stood a fire red., my poor mother her crying,
she said the gypsy was right, and she fell right dead

If that was a bloke i'd of dragged him out of the car and beat the f*ck outa him! How could you not notice a bicycle under your car? :rolleyes

Poor sod had been run over and sat on the pavement listening to some blind bitch spouting her innocence for 10 minutes before ANOTHER CYCLIST stopped to ask if he was actually hurt. My guess is the woman could not see over the steering wheel so anything nearer than 25 ft. to her bonnet would be out of sight.
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!
