She actually had been on foc -u a long time. I have known her since 2004 when we went on our first mci trip with dek. We had a pre tour meet up in north wales, and I met her at crossgates. I was immediately impressed with her, a cultured posh voice, long dark hair, and she was a good bike rider. She was special, and was always there to lend an ear, and keep us gang of lads in order .
My fondest moment is from the 2005 trip when we had to ride up the pyrenees in a rainstorm, and she just rode like it wasnt raining , no fuss, no wobbling ...tremendous ! made us all look wusses tbh ....lol
I never met her, but I remember her posts, sad news indeed.
The only real Fazer is a carbed 600.
She showed me the route from Abergavenny down to Chepstow- a brilliant ride
Our group is going for a ride on Friday so we are going to do that plus the Wye valley up through Tintern- she loved that road I am sure as all bikers do
RIP ViV- in our thoughts on Friday
I followed her on Primrose with a lady on an R6 who's name I forget- sorry- as far as Chepstow. It was probably five years ago
She knew the road and I didnt- she had some fun with me trying to keep up with her and had a twinkle in her eye when we got to the garage at Chepstow.
She said where do you want to go now and I said back the other way- if you havent done that road give it a try and think of ViV while you are on the road
we do it several times a year- it is that good
Sad loss- too few lady bikers amongst us

I am shocked as I've only just heard this news. Viv was a lovely, sweet lady and a dear friend. I feel a little awkward now and don't quite know what to say. I remember the day I met her, outside Black Mountain Yamaha and invited her to join us on a ride, there went her introduction to the FOC-U.
I last saw her at our New Years Day meet in the Plas Derwen in 2010 and she told me then that she was in remission. I am terribly sad to say that, that was the last time we spoke.
God Bless Ya Primrose/Rosebud/Viv a true lady and a dear friend. I will miss you. xxx :'(
Madders- we are passing through Abergavenny bus station tomorrow morning about 10:45-11am and then heading up her route if you want to join us.
Was to be quite a few but they saw the forecast and cried off- 2-4 bikes coming now

I only knew her on here and I offer my heartfelt sympathies to those of you who held her dear. Look upon it as God gaining another shining light for his great biking community.
Dolau, long time no speak matey. I was aware you were doing this but alas, I'm working at 4 and my bike has a dead battery at the mo. My thoughts will be with you though. :o
