Guys,

I think we have lost Viv. Looking on her FB page, it would appear she lost her fight with Cancer.

Sad times indeed :-(

Really sad news, she was a lovely woman, and we had some great Welsh rides together.

She was indeed one of a kind, and I am sure she is looking down on us with her smile as she normally does.

I don't want to lose any more friends, please let this be the last..

I knew Viv very well, we went on several european  tours together in a group. She was an incredible woman, brave and mad enuff to go touring europe on her bike, a great spirit.Always made me think of joanna Lumley with her "semi posh" voice and her style..... I hear this news with great sadness. I knew of her battle with cancer,I didnt realise she was that ill either. She gave up biking a couple of years ago, and we drifted apart somewhat. A very sad day indeed. RIP. Sad

I remember meeting Viv at a couple of Foccers meets, the BOTW one that peejay has posted a piccie from, and also one at Stratford, where I took a not very flattering picture of her which we had a bit of banter about when I posted it on Foc-U afterwards. Viv also sent me some lovely messages of support when my father-in-law lost his battle with cancer in 2005.
RIP Viv

I had a text last night, not sure who from to say Viv had passed away. Sadly no-one knew in time to attend funeral. She was a lovely lady, full of good kind words. She will be missed.

Rest in peace Viv "Primrose". Thank you for your friendship.
