Look likes Delkevic items have bought from mad4bikes.com before with no problems. If your near n-london ive a stock front pipes doing nothing if your tight for cash.
I have the Motad downpipes. Bought them directly from the company as they didn't have any on ebay when I needed them a couple of months ago. I paid £134.99+£12.86 for postage. Ask for that price and you will get it.
I'm very pleased with them. The quallity is fine, but the finish is not perfect. But that's ok considering the price and the motads have the link pipes between the downpipes. Some of the cheaper ones don't
Don't know about the delkevic pipe. I have a Viper end can that I really like the sound of.
I have just done the same this month, asked Motad about pipes and got them for £134.99 + £12.86 so that's just under £150 delivered. Don't know why the website says £24o exc Delivery and Vat.
Four Wheels Moves The Body... Two Wheels Moves The Soul
Does anyone do race systems anymore? The only ones i've ever seen are the Micron headers that guy on here with the pimped fazer has. Still i'd imagine stainless items give a decent weight saving* over the rust-amatic stock ones even if they don't give any more power.

Cheers, so even the generic aftermarket stainless ones that are just oe replacements give a decent weight saving?
I bought these from mad 4 bikes for £200 that included postal to Ireland and gaskets. Delkevic exhaust for 1999, 600cc Fazer.
Before I went to work I got plenty of advice off this site on how to fit which was very useful. This included soaking the exhaust studs a few days beforehand with wd40. On doing so they practically fell off the bike. I had seen horror stories of studs snapping etc but I have been lucky. The old studs were also in very good condition and ready to go back on.
I took the studs off tonight but left it at that as it got dark. Ill finish the job tomorrow and keep the progress updated on this thread with pics.
Quick question, can I put mild steel studs back onto the new stainless steel brackets ? Will it combust together and rust or anything ? If so what washers are best to use ?
Soak nuts befoe taking them off. Put sellotape around new brackets to stop them from falling back down the downpipes when putting them on. Use grease or in my case vasiline to hold new gaskets into place. Then place your your new exhaust into position and attach to bike.
I've got a set from Motad to fit as well as a new silencer.
Terrified about shearing a stud - but from what I CAN see that's not going to be a problem as I CAN'T see how on earth I'm supposed to get a wrench on them in the first place! Not that I've tried yet... The outside nuts seem easy. The internal two pipes look hopeless!
To those who have managed to get them off and on again - has anyone even attempted to tighten them with a torque wrench??? Just looks impossible!
Bought a full set of Delkevic headers, link pipe and cans the downpipes were not the right spacing for the ports one hole was about 1/2 HOLE OUT was told that they needed to be fitted with a "firm hand" I pointed out that I had tried to fit them with a firm size 11 but still no joy, I sent them back for a replacement which arrived still not quite right but fitable then the link pipe and cans which fouled on the main stand could not be bothered any more so fixed it by taking a little off the stand with a grinder. Would I buy from them again NO
Dont ask it's a chef thing
