New tyre Time

Thanks for your thoughts on this.
One thing that put me off the road 6 is that I read a review that said the tread tended to pick up every stone and pebble on the road, and I do come across a lot of that whilst blating around here in the shires.
I think I am sttled on the metzeler M9rr which will be replacing my M7rrs

Can't say i've ever noticed any problem with picking up any unwanted junk off the roads with my front Road 6, and i'd be the first to shout about it if it happened regularly.
Due to a constant barrage of never ending roadworks around my way i find myself riding to the front of traffic more often than not, and you always get that build up of crud that finds its way to sit in front of traffic lights on the right side of waiting vehicles and sometimes can't be avoided, but it's never been a concern that debris is sticking to my tyre although i obviously try to avoid it too.
I just had a look around for Road 6 reviews and as an all rounder tyre all i could see was high ratings with very positive feedback.

Re the picking up stones I assumed that it was due to the thin "cuts" with the round holes at the end, I can imagine a stone chipping being picked up in the slit and flung off
