1. Check the 10amp Backup Fuse in the fuse box under the seat. This fuse keeps the time and the trip meters from resetting when ignition is off
2. Check the Connectors under the left fairing panel, they are prone to corrosion, (most common cause)
3. Check the connector on the Clocks they can have corrosion, but not common
