Clock resetting - Cagey_Thoughts - 21-03-26 Hi... After a rebuild... I have noticed that when I turn the ignition off, the clock resets to 1am every time I turn the ignition back on... not a major... just wondering whether it is indicative of something I have missed or something??? cheers hope everybody is well... the weather is just starting to improve here in France and the Fazer is now on french plates... So I can rag around the French countryside without wondering if I am going to be stopped for UK plates..lol RE: Clock resetting - unfazed - 21-03-26 Which bike have you ? RE: Clock resetting - Cagey_Thoughts - 21-03-26 Hi unfazed... many thanks for the reply...its a 2003 tuning fork model... (I have a new battery to fit)... RE: Clock resetting - unfazed - 21-03-26 Same as my own 1. Check the 10amp Backup Fuse in the fuse box under the seat. This fuse keeps the time and the trip meters from resetting when ignition is off 2. Check the Connectors under the left fairing panel, they are prone to corrosion, (most common cause) 3. Check the connector on the Clocks they can have corrosion, but not common |
