Red wire was shorted to the other 3 and I found the starter relay module relay faulty and replaced the whole module but same result. Backlight on dash comes on, as well as headlights blinkers, etc. However, no numbers or clock or anything, and no neutral light. Any help or ideas? I started going through the service manual and wiring. Any suggestions?

Update, when pulling the headlight fuse, the dash display (odo and clock) work again, but still no neutral light or crank when start is pushed, even with clutch in. All fuses are good. .

Was it a attemped robbery or stolen the  recovered. If so the neutral switch and side stands switch are likely to be fried. Try bypassing the side stand switch and pull in the clutch lever. This should allow starting. If that works replace both switches.

It was attempted robbery, never moved. I will try that now. Any idea why the HEAD fuse is causing dash to not display properly? If its in, the dash doesn't display but all lights work, and blinkers. Strange.

Ok thanks, yes bypassing the sidestand switch allows it to start with clutch in. Whew. Good to hear her purr again.
