No display on dash, or start after igntion was bypassed incorrectly - Talon26 - 27-11-25 Help please.2001 gen 1 FZ1 US model. Red wire was shorted to the other 3 and I found the starter relay module relay faulty and replaced the whole module but same result. Backlight on dash comes on, as well as headlights blinkers, etc. However, no numbers or clock or anything, and no neutral light. Any help or ideas? I started going through the service manual and wiring. Any suggestions? Update, when pulling the headlight fuse, the dash display (odo and clock) work again, but still no neutral light or crank when start is pushed, even with clutch in. All fuses are good. . Try bypassing the side stand switch and pull in the clutch lever. This should allow starting. If that works replace both switches.
