		Dont know if it has a battey or not, but there is 12v supplied to the dash when the ignition is off to maintain the clock and trip meters  and it would be best to check that it is working. this 12v is supplied by the backup fuse under the seat first.  
If that is OK then you need to check that there is 12v to the dash. Pull the plug from the rear of the dash and check for 12v on the red/green wire.
If you haven't 12v there then it is most likely corrosion in the 6 way connector under the left infill panel. This is a very common issue
