Danny's Digital Dash - old son - 30-10-25 I was one of the first to buy one of these units and it has been great. I don't use the bike much these days and leave it on a trickle charger. When I have used the bike the last couple of times I noticed the clock on the dash was showing 00:00. When I set the clock and then use the bike it is OK for the day but looses time again by the next day. I am, assuming there are batteries inside the unit somewhere. Can anybody confirm there are batteries, where they are situated and what type they are please. I presume they are rechargeable. Any help would be welcomed. RE: Danny's Digital Dash - unfazed - 30-10-25 Dont know if it has a battey or not, but there is 12v supplied to the dash when the ignition is off to maintain the clock and trip meters and it would be best to check that it is working. this 12v is supplied by the backup fuse under the seat first. If that is OK then you need to check that there is 12v to the dash. Pull the plug from the rear of the dash and check for 12v on the red/green wire. If you haven't 12v there then it is most likely corrosion in the 6 way connector under the left infill panel. This is a very common issue |
