Next questiosn (for neerds) would be the inductance value. That also defines how much energy can be stored for the spark. I assume it's in the same ballpark as the original.

Is it to replace a bad original coil? Or do you aim for a better spark with more energy?
If the later then you should also consider to improve the overall power cabeling. Some significant voltage gets lost there.

Yeah to replace faulty originals, second hand ones are obviously showing there age now & don't want to take a chance. The new Chinese ones seem even worse !! I will look into the inductance value, my main concern with them being 3ohm would they be ok with the cdi unit.
