Political correctness, wokeness, justified or something else

This is more about people that not only get offended by the slightest thing, but make a point of being loud in their uncalled for response so that they get the attention that THEY so obviously want and desperately crave.

When someone who has a position of power, be it political authority, a wide audience afforded to them by the media or simply popularity, uses that position to behave in a way that negatively affects a group that doesn't share the same things, that is not "banter", that is punching down, aka bullying, aka not picking on someone your own size.

Of course they are also the ones who then complain about "people being offended by the slightest thing" (ie they don't like their opinions being called to account) and claiming (vociferously and repeatedly to their wide audience!) that they are "being cancelled"!

Still, gets them attention, doesn't it...?!

You are so wrong.

You are comparing apples and oranges.
