On the flip side, being offended by somebody speaking their mind, commonly known as "having their own personal opinion" could also be considered as being quite rude! It's the equivalent of trying to dominate a conversation by not letting the other person have their fair say, which in turn is basically what this post is about.
If someone else's opinion constantly has the ability to frazzle your mind that's not the other persons fault, unless they are quite obviously being blatantly offensive to you, to the point of picking a verbal fight.
Also known as banter, it's about having a bit of equal give and take, rather than crying about it every time something or someone else displeases your own point of view or agenda.
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.
