The rear light is the number plate light.
Front sidelight and rear light both share the same fuse so check that first. Don't discount 3x blown bulbs though as many people do not realise on of the rears and the front have blown before the last rear one blows. If the instrument illumination is working, this points to the bulbs again for me.
