My Gen 1 1000 struggles to start with choke on but once started revs rise as if choke is on, back it off then ticks over fine and runs great.  Never had one of these before, not sure if it has been Ivanised or jet kit.
Back full circle first bike Yamaha, RD250C now another Yamaha, FAZER 1000 - 2009 S1000RR shock, R6 5EB RWU forks, both resprung, just fitted so much better......
