I dont think its anything drastic mate. a sticky cable probably; its suprising the difference that makes. One time I routed the throttle cable slightly wrong after swapping the carbs out and my throttle was stiff, another time it was when I adjusted the cables too tight. as for jumping off the bandito onto the thou...its exactly the same for me when ive been riding the cb1300 then use the fazer..it feels like a 600 low down. The thou is a fantastic bike, but it aint got the grunt of the bigger cubed bikes. you'll get it sorted bud...
