I've recently got a Fazer with after market pipes and the centre stand was touching the pipes when raised. Bit of a tweek sorted it out. Seems a bit unnecessary to cut the lugs off.
My aftermarket exhaust has a metal plate coming off it so that the centre stand deliberately rests on it with a rubber bung.
[/quote]Thats exactly how the oem one works, or rather the other way around as the bung is on the stand,(or is that what you were saying ? picture is my repair job on it.
Deeteefifty/ if it helps I have posted my stand referb here http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,20049...#msg231855 with pictures of the lugs
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
