Never trust a Haynes manual
#8
Over the years of owning various bikes I use Haynes as a 'reference' but never take it as gospel ?
Often they (try to) cover several models & both sports/commuter bikes via the same manual err ?
Some jobs are either not in there or the wrong info is printed ! the best manuals other than oem are the Clymer ones these are a thick book in comparison, covering everything from electrics & all the values of each component,to all the engine tolerance use of plasti-gauge etc for real accurate measurement really well printed.
Stuff everything I've always got my bike Smile
