I went up one tooth on the front sprocket on my previous bike (GSX750f) as I used it for longer journeys. I did stall it occasionally, even one up and it became a nuisance. It was marginally better on long journeys as it was running lower revs and economy was slightly better. I eventually changed it back to standard as most modern bikes are designed to rev high. I always kept to the speed limit which helped !!
