Possibly Nick, a lot quicker than my old un. Bloke has spent a lot on suspension front and rear, so maybe he had that done too. I won't know I guess without stripping the carbs and checking the jets. It rolls on in top like it was in third, that's why I thought gearing. It's a bit lairy on cold roads lol but the bt016s seem pretty good.

What suspension mods Paul? When Mike worked his magic on mine, I was blown away by the improvement. Then came the R6 rear shock, and suddenly I was able to use that power more effectively, and I thought, it doesn't get any better than this. But when Luke fitted the R1 forks, I was again amazed by the improvement. I was lucky enough that Luke had sourced a pair with K-Tech internals (we hadn't stripped them to check this, but it has since been confirmed by my local dealer). The result is a really complete bike such as I have never owned before. That's part of why I wasn't blown away by the Striple, the idea of which was to try something more modern to see how far things had come in the years in which I hadn't tried any new fare. Don't get me wrong, the Triumph is a very good bike. But even though I went for the R model, the Fazer out-handles it, despite the extra weight, and of course has much more stomp. Add to that the greater comfort for long trips, and it's hard to imagine anything better. Newer bikes have more power - well, the Fazer with the Ivan's mod seems to be exactly the right amount for me. Newer bikes are lighter - with the Triumph, that makes it too flighty for our bumpy roads. I've said it before (as have others) and I say it again: I don't think there is a better all-rounder, given the mods I (read Mike and Luke) have done to mine
