That's a good idea cos with the alarm arming itself shortly after ignition off and when working on the bike it's a pain in the arse , it can go into transport mode but as I found out ( as well as my unimpressed neighbours  :lol ) the alarm goes off when you take the seat off so you disarm it, but it arms again because the ignitions off and so I put it back into transport mode and the alarm goes off again when you put the seat back on ?.
I hate elecktrickery but I think I'll try that before I get an asbo from my neighbours.

Is there a switch under the seat you could tape closed or short circuit to stop this ?
No alarm so cant check on mine.
