Valve Clearance

You don't need to remove those water pipes, so no O-rings not required unless you decide to take them off to clean 'em up.  Just pull the hoses off and then remove the cam cover.

As Fast Frank says, the cam cover seal is re-usable but you need to put a wipe of blue gasket goo around the Ds at each end.

Be wary of dirt in the coolant hose cavities dropping into the motor.  Blow them clear with compressed air if you have it.

No need to remove the timing cover, although FF prefers to do it that way.  I never have. 

Hopefully all will be in spec so you won't need to pull cams and do shim swaps.  Smile
