How big is this thing?

Hello everyone,


After a lifetime riding shafties I've finally succumbed to world of chains - I should be picking up a 2008 S2 next Saturday.


My problem now, is where am I going to keep it - so it doesn't slowly rot like my Deauville?
My plan is to build a shelter for it by the side of the porch, but I'm not sure there is enough space.
If the bike is on the side stand how wide a gap does the rear metre of the bike need?
Obviously I could just wait a week and try it out, but who has the patience for that???


And just how do I fit carpet to walls?
