All politicians are in it for themselves (as are union leaders)

All? What about the politician murdered on Thursday?

As much as I despise what happened to her, let's not make her out to be a totally selfless saint.


I can only go by what the media says, as I didn't know her in person, yet I'm certain that she was indeed a very good person, working for others and an inspiration to some/many - but to think that she was not also driven by personal ambition would be to think of her as super-human.
