Quote:Brexit is the dream of the Trumps and Farages of this world. And like them, the Leave campaign has risen in the polls mainly through fantastic lies delivered by rag media.

The truth is, Europe is a no-brainer. The challenges we face are, by far, best met together. Our unity is a force for peace, for human and labour rights, for environmental sustainability, for our future. And that's why those who want to take us backward on all those fronts, also want Brexit.

Re: Vote Love No war - Grahamm - 16-06-16

Just remember, much of the media pushing the Leave campaign is owned by an Australian Billionaire with an American passport.

Do you *really* think he gives a damn about you...?

Re: Vote Love No war - Buzz - 16-06-16

@Grahamm - couldn't agree more.

VOTE LEAVE!! (You will bloody need to when the French Gendarmerie walk away from Calais and wave 'The Migrants' through)

Re: Vote Love No war - Oldgit - 17-06-16

Vote LEAVE--you know it makes sense.

Re: Vote Love No war - pilninggas - 17-06-16

Vote remain for more bloated waste and blinkered bureacracy in Brussels, Strasbourg and Luxembourg.

Vote Leave to return sovereignty to the UK.

Vote Leave to give control of the country to Boris, Nigel, Michael and Rupert Murdoch (backed up by 850 unelected Lords...)

They're right, the British public IS as thick as pig shit.

How else could an uber-Tory Aussie sell so many newspapers pushing his right-ring views to the traditionally Labour voting working class?  :\

You can still vote for labour at the next GE (or anyone else of your choice).

At least we can name these people- how many people can tell you who Vera Jouroya or Pierre Moscovici are? They have so much impact on your life, particularly long term and you can't sack them, and the european parliament won't hold the commision to account as the whole thing is about a plutocratic status quo. As for the lords I see that moron Nick Clegg was saying last week leaving is antidemocratic due to the effect of the lords, whilst omitting the fact that he appointed many, many libdem peers in the last 6 months of his tenure as DPM, now the libdems are massively over-represented in the top chamber due to his actions.

All politicians are in it for themselves (as are union leaders).

As someone brought up in the mining community of the North East, it sickened me what Blair did to what I saw as the traditional Labour Party, - but he just wanted to be EU President.

Yes, but there WILL NOT be another referendum on Europe! This is a ONE TIME deal.

Oh come on. When a new government comes in, how many people can name most of those who get the Cabinet positions? The positions, BTW that we *don't* get to vote for who gets them and we can't sack the Chancellor (Osborne) or the Education Secretary (remember how good Gove was...?) or the Health Secretary (Hunt, loathed by the entire NHS), no matter how bad a job they do!

oh come on, what? the last few governments have turned in mps who were known locally, as well as prominent opposition. We elect a majority party or coalition and they get to choose how they want to configure the gvt. I didn't vote for labour but they were govt between 97-10 (remember how Andrew Brunham pfi'd £600million of the NHS, leaving some trusts broke? or Ed Balls saying he wanted all school kids 'above average' [flipping houses and a numeric moron]). The commision pays lip service to the eu parliament, and does what it wants.

The EU is a plutocratic joke.

And yet, without the EU Parliament's approval and the agreement of the *democratically* elected MEPs, it can't "do what it wants" (unless you believe what the Sun and Experss tell you...)

Yes, that's why that Billionaire Australian with the American passport wants us to leave it, because he can't get them to do what he wants...

Actually you've got that wrong Grahamm. It was a genuine post not sarcastic joke  Smile

I do think Vote In is Vote Love and I do have donated there.

And I do think Nigel Farage is full of sh*t. No way I can be on the same side as that moron.

As much as I despise what happened to her, let's not make her out to be a totally selfless saint.

I can only go by what the media says, as I didn't know her in person, yet I'm certain that she was indeed a very good person, working for others and an inspiration to some/many - but to think that she was not also driven by personal ambition would be to think of her as super-human.

Re: Vote Love No war - fazersharp - 21-06-16

Out on the bike this eve I saw a few "vote" in or out signs and thought why do people bother, its not going to sway anyone this way or that, mind you on the way home I went to a normus car boot sale, billy bates circus, a fair, a monster truck display, a rave, a bed clearance sale, and a bridal gown sale.
