My Centrestand Refurb

(11-05-16, 08:27 PM)fazersharp link Wrote: I have now repaired the rubber stopper with a stainless steel machine screw and nylo nut. There is already a hole in the stopper that gos 3/4 the way down so I just had to drill it all the way through and the widen the top half the take the screw head so it was below the surface.
Also because the screw is m6 ( I think) and the hole in the stand is much bigger I first dropped in a stainless split washer as that was the only thing that would both fit within the hole and go over the screw shaft this then acted as a step down spacer so the stopper wont have any chance of moving side to side.
All that great work, seems a shame you've got to put it on the bike to get dirty again Sad
