All this is exactly why I have stayed with xp.
I use firefox with that but am getting pissed off with it because it seems now that there is an update every 2 days and every time there is one it go's crap and something stops working. It used to work great, now I get 100% cpu spikes on some sites, I might start a separate post on that one after the weekend as i dont want to

It's old, XP must be sooooooo sloooooow in comparison to Windows 7 or above.
I know my old laptop which has it on is. I crank it up occasionally just to blow away the cobwebs, and to remind me again how slow it really was.
I only keep it as I use it as another back-up place for a mountain of music.

Yes I have to admit that it is now looking slow as I also have another pc with win 7 but the speed is more to do with the newer pc with better cpu and and extra 6gb ram than the difference between xp and 7. I will be replacing my xp pc with a newer one with win 7 and I will NOT be upgrading to 10
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
