The original Boxeye 1.0 is cheaper and a film icon according to Kill Bill. Furthermore, it's done a comfirmed 104mph lap @ the TT so has some racing pedigree.
The Boxeye 1.5 (2000-2001) added a larger fuel capacity, preload-adjustable fork caps and better pillion provision (footrest hangers & pillion seat).
Foxeyes appear to be a facelift model just to stay trendy, but with an even bigger fuel tank & better headlights.
IMO the Boxeye 1.5 (such as the one mentioned above) offers the best price/performance combination, providing you don't mind the retro look (which will come back round again in a few years)
