DONT WAIT TILL A SUNNY DAY, GET THAT SORTED ASAP
Electrical fires aren't funny and you might not have a clue it's even going on fire if your away from your bike as it'll smoulder away.
Doesn't make any difference what connector you put on it at the moment as your going to do all the lights again, I presume your going HID route? But regardless, cover those bare wires, as if they touch anything else you'll do more than 'blow the bloody doors off'
whoever done that job in the first place would scare me and I'd need to check the whole foccin bike if that's his handywork :eek
A bit of insulation tape or even sellotape, till you do it properly, is better than nothing,
but I'd personally take off the cover that's on there, slide heatshrink over the wires, solder the bare ends together, slide the heatshrink over the soldered ends then heat that, jobs a good one
