Does any one no if later larger fuel tanks would fit the old 98 fzs600 ?

Yes, but why bother when you can open the hole  up a wee bit in the filler neck and get the same result, albeit after you fill, you have to keep it upright till you've used a bit of fuel up so it doesn't just go down the overfill tube and run out the bottom of the bike. :rolleyes
