Think you are going to have to bite the bullet and replace the plates, preferably genuine yamaha but ebc prob ok. It's most likely a combination of things that cause the slip, low friction car oils won't help, bikes using them without problems will be the ones that have low tyre wear. Most bike clutches can handle the engine being used hard as long as they fully re-engage after a gearchange, if racers didn't upshift without the clutch or use quickshifters they would have problems. Using the clutch to encourage a wheelie might be ok but not on a regular basis.
