Ah now I have never done a plastic weld job before can I just melt that plastic down to use in the restructuring and welding of the cracks with a soldering iron?

Nor have I as a pro, but I  bodged a job years ago using a heat gun, done the job I wanted and was covered with panels etc, so it never bothered me, best asking deefer for some hints I'm guessing ;-)
