Also, Belgium sucks. I've been a few times. Last year my mate and I fuel'd up at the French border so we wouldn't have to stop until we go to Holland. I'm not even joking. It's a yawn-fest. It encompasses the worst of the three countries surrounding it.

A lot of it is flat and uninteresting. In the north the cities of Bruges and Gent are worth visiting.

In the south the areas around Spa, and the part south of Dinant which sticks out into France around Bouillion, bordering Luxembourg and the French Ardenne is nice. A bit far for a day trip though.
