I was one of the lucky ones to get the steering stem from the fz1 site. Brian g did a fine job. It was exactly the right size for the bearing i ordered from bike bearings.co.uk (thanks Mike 
) I also purchased a second hand lsl r1 bar conversion top yoke from ebay (thanks again mike for the link 
). I bought a 2002 - 2003 bottom yoke through ebay and used 2008 r1 forks wheel and calipers.. Simples :lol I think if you can get brian g to do another batch of steering stems, then that is the way to go.. It cost me $100 plus shipping, which worked out about £100..Unless Luke gets time to get them made
