Thanks Mike. I am not sure if I am mistaken but I believe the custom yokes on ebay (Billet Bike Bits) are top yoke and bottom yoke and a machined steering stem for the FZS as a complete unit for 430 quid plus postage. There is quite a wait for these but it seems the easiest solution all round.
I was hoping to get some feedback from someone that had actually gone this route as it seems (other than the price) thesimplest option. Any alternative that involves machining will leave me walking blind into some engineering place and hoping for the best.
There are other billet top yokes available from CNC that seem to be cheaper versions of the LSL one you link to but these still leave me with the problem of obtaining, bottom yoke, bearings and steering stem and getting them all fitted together correctly.
