What I did find is that number 2 spark plug was not even finger tight, I'm betting this is the source of my tick. I know I should have done a complete nut and bolt check when I first got the thing, but why do people who don't know how tight things should be do work on their bikes, if you can't tighten a spark plug up then you really should be taking it to the dealers for servicing.
The upside is that they are the same plugs I'm using in my XRX, so I've just ordered some in bulk.
Not bad though that it took you 6000 miles to check ;-)
First thing I done when I got my bike was go down one side and check nuts, bolts, anything really, then the other side then wheels, then do handlebars then finish with panels, rack etc
Then it's fluids and petrol and away we go :-)
And I got it from a mate, if I got it from a dealer I'd of checked it twice B-)
