I used the green can of nitromours recently and it did very little. A heat gun and a scrapper is the way to go if you want to strip it. Heat the paint until it's soft but not burning and it'll come off in big strips. Then a quick sand and clean, followed by undercoat and two top coats and it'll look good and last. A sprayer isn't really going to save you any time because you're only doing a small area and most of the time goes into the prep not the painting.
