I read on a Suzuki forum a while ago about overhauling a "wiggly" key: One guy had a fix which he said was reverse all the years of people filling their lock barrels with WD-40.
I had a go on my GSXR Slingshot and flushed the lock with contact cleaner (although he did say brake cleaner) work it a bit and repeat until the output runs clean. Then, get some graphite lock lube from Screwfix, and fill the lock, work it in and hey presto. Worked for me.
Bottom line is don't use WD-40 as it flushes out the grease!

Just think how stupid the "average" person is. Isn't it a worry that statistically approximately 50% of the population are thicker!
