Take it out and remove the wiring plug. Undo the two screws, they are anti tamper and require a bit of effort to open.

Remove the 2 plastic holder where the screws were

Peal back the rubber seal and unclip the plug or plugs

One large black Plug it is a Meta 357

One large black plug and one small white one then it is a Meta 357T-V2

Let me know which you have.

As Arfa says you could buy a new one (if it has 2 plugs) and fitting is reverse of the above.
Companies like Abacus Alarms sell replacement units for when the batteries fail. The internal battery should last about 7 to 10 years.
