and the £40 - 50 in fuel depends how much and how quick you want it and how much a new one would cost. You could also turn it in to a social day out perhaps meet foccers up there for some chips Christo I'm sure you've spent that on a ride out before without worrying

Oh Gods, yes. And that is why I was living of 11p noodles last year!

Also, last year, I wasn't ploughing every spare penny into getting the bike roadworthy. I was ploughing every spare penny into the fuel tank. 

Thing is, I don't want to buy and pay for it without a way of getting it down 'ere.
