A good indication of whether the owner looked after the bike properly would be to ask them what their EXUP servicing routine was, if they looked at you blankly I would probably walk away at that point. If they haven't had the bike very long then you could forgive them that and check for yourself that the bolts holding the cover on can be turned, walk away from anything seized as the bike hasn't been properly maintained. If buying from a dealer go out for your test ride, go round the block and check for yourself that the bolts holding the cover on look in good condition and can be loosened & tightened properly, any signs of Coppaslip are good, then get back on the bike and enjoy.
If the rear shock is original then figure on the cost of replacing it sooner rather than later as it won't be fit for purpose, the R6 shock mod would be worthwhile looking at.
