actual faults...........exup valve seized or not working properly. when you turn the ignition on you should hear a 'tzzz tzzzz' patent pending from under the tank.............unless it has a full race system on.
talking of which.........unless it is a decent pipe....akra, hindle, muzzy, budget in a replacement. a sandy's is a no-no.
usual check for rear suspension slop and if it has a centrestand, check the middle brace where it attaches to the legs.
if the rev counter reads funny.........that's a diagnostic report!
it's desirable to have an ivans kit and sorted suspension, belly pan, hugger etc
check for damage to the tank where the handlebars go as they are made of cheese and tap the tank in the event of a tip over.
