Although an oil change will probably need doing mate, you'll need to proper clean the forks out as well - usually when oil goes off it goes thinner, so you lose damping, but I have heard of cases where the oil flow valves have got bunged up with crap if the oil hasn't been changed for a long time and need cleaning out!
