Tbh on this bike Chris upgrade the suspension as soon as you have the pennies, it will inspire more confidence than standard, hence mileage experience isn't the right way of looking at it.
Unless of course you see the fazer as a midway bike to the next!

A good point, I love my fazer and don't see me selling it on for a long time but for the mileage I do per year, about 3kish, then it's a very expensive mod. It's definitely on the list of things to do though! The standard suspension is capable enough for me at the moment but I see what you mean about having better suspension may in fact help me have more confidence. I guess it's a kind of balance between cost and need.
